Neither. It’s a stand alone Rapid realtime rendering (RRT rendering) engine.
The Hypershot product family doesn’t exist anymore because it used the Luxion render engine and Bunkspeed lost the license to use it. Luxion has since launched their own product called “Keyshot2” [link] which is far superior to the Hypershot product family
Bunkspeed have also launched a replacement product which uses the IRay engine and is pretty much unbeatable for RRT rendering called “Shot” [link]

Shaders are custom created materials that are optimised for each individual lighting enviroment and then tweeked in post.
